Purple Coneflowers (echinacea purpurea) are deer resistant and drought tolerant. An excellent flower for landscaping. Coneflowers do not normally bloom the first year when planted from seed, so when you buy our three-year-old bareroot plants you can enjoy beautiful flowers the first year. This perennial is excellent as a cut flower. Coneflowers multiply naturally.
Coneflower Planting instructions:
Will grow in any fertile soil. Likes full sun, but will tolerate up to 20% shade.
Purple Coneflowers bloom from early summer until fall.
Grows to 3 - 4 ft. Zones 3 - 8.
